The Top of the Hub is a full service, 145 seat, white table cloth restaurant and 190 seat bar lounge. The restaurant delivers exceptional, contemporary American cuisine and attentive service with spectacular ambiance. The landmark restaurant and bar, with refined club-like ambiance, is located on the 52nd floor atop the Prudential Tower in Boston, Massachusetts.

February 2012

Friday, February 10th, 2012:  The Taylor House, Jamaica Plain, MA 7:30-8:30pm
April will be performing in a special duo concert featuring pianist Tim Ray, at this beautiful landmark performance space. The Taylor House has lent a big hand in helping support the artisan community by holding concerts and art shows at their beautiful 1853 Victorian Bed and Breakfast.  This concert is unique in that it is a true listing room.  A real "house concert" in a beautiful setting. This is an opportunity to see this special jazz vocal duo in an intimate setting (40 seats).  The one hour concert is followed by a short cocktail hour where concert goers get to mix and mingle with the musicians.  Tickets are a suggested donation of $10, which goes directly to fund the musicians.

About the Taylor House:  Taylor House, a gracious sixteen room Victorian home in Boston’s Jamaica Plain section, was built around 1853 for George W. Taylor, an international merchant head-quartered in Boston. It is situated within the Monument Square Historic District, and lies in an area known as "Pondside", which contains some of Jamaica Plain’s finest suburban architecture. The structure is predominantly Italianate in style reflect the earliest architectural style found in Jamaica Plain. A distinctive octagonal cupola sits atop the main house.  The house is surrounded by Victorian-inspired gardens and lies less than one block from a beautiful pond.
